Getting There

• Walking

  Start your journey from the central area of Tlemcen, near the Grand Mosque (Mosquée de Tlemcen). From the mosque, head northwest on Rue des Frères Bouali. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenue des Frères Bouali. Turn left onto Avenue des Frères Bouali and walk for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass by local shops and cafes along the way. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at Place de la Liberté, where you will see a large park. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route de Tlemcen. Continue walking for about 2 kilometers, keeping an eye out for signs directing you towards 'أعالي لوريط'. The scenic route will lead you through some beautiful areas of the city. After about 2 kilometers, you will arrive at a sign indicating 'أعالي لوريط' and can follow the path that leads you into the hiking area.

• Public Transport

  From the center of Tlemcen, make your way to the bus station (Gare Routière de Tlemcen). Look for a bus heading towards the nearby hiking areas or specifically asking for 'أعالي لوريط'. Buses usually run every 30 minutes. Once you board the bus, confirm with the driver that they will be stopping at 'أعالي لوريط'. The bus ride will take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, follow the signs leading to the hiking trails, which are well-marked and will guide you to the scenic areas of 'أعالي لوريط'.
